The Broughton Trust is a Salford-based charity that has been supporting local people and communities for more than 25 years.
We help people build skills, find work, improve their wellbeing, grow in confidence and become more connected to their community. Our work brings together learning and skills, personalised employment support and mentoring, support for young people, health and wellbeing, advocacy and opportunities to take part in community life.
People come to The Broughton Trust for many different reasons and at different stages in their lives. We take time to understand the whole person—their strengths, circumstances and aspirations—and help them connect with the support, relationships and opportunities that can help them move forward.
We are proudly rooted in Salford and work alongside residents, community organisations and partners across the city. Our role as a Greater Manchester Live Well Space and a core delivery partner in Elevate Salford reflects our commitment to bringing trusted, joined-up support closer to the people and communities we serve.
